Esther Rozendaal is Associate Professor of Communication and Behavioural Change at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Netherlands. She is member of the Movez Lab, a research team with a shared interest in young people, digital media, and wellbeing. Her research focuses on the digital resilience of children and teenagers. Specifically, in her current MediaMovez research project, which was granted to her by the Dutch Research Council, she studies how teenagers can be empowered to use digital media in a safe and responsible manner.

Professor in the degree program in Advertising & Public Relations, in the area of advertising creativity, and Coordinator of the master’s program in Communication & Creative Industries (2010-21).
Charo Sadaba is Associate Professor and Dean of the School of Communication of the University of Navarra. For the last twenty years she has been interested in the relationship between children and teens and digital technologies and has been part of several research projects taking place in LatinAmerican countries and in Spain. She is now a member of the EU Commission Expert Group on Tackling disinformation and promoting digital literacy through education and training.
Maite Francés has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a degree in Humanities, both from the University of Alicante. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management in the toy sector from IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Her professional career began in the field of research, as a senior technician, in the R+D project financed by the MEC, called «Quality of audiovisual content -programmatic and advertising -and advertising content aimed at the children’s target audience».
After finishing her doctorate studies in «Communication» at the Cardenal Herrera-CEU University, she obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies with a research that analized the figure of the child consumer of brands and children’s marketing, a subject on which she has participated in conferences, articles, and book chapters, both at national and international level.
In 2006, Maite became part of the network of centres for strategic reflection on innovation opportunities (i-CREO) in the toy sector, promoted by IMPIVA. Apart from that, since 2008, she has been part of the communication and marketing department of the Spanish Association of Toy Manufacturers, of which she is now the director.
Maite is also a member of the Commission for the Monitoring of Children’s Toy Advertising, of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Association of Advertisers and of the Board of Directors of Autocontrol.
